Ilkeston: Man arrested after police officer injured

No other members of the public were involved, Derbyshire Police said
A man has been arrested after a police officer was taken to hospital following an âincidentâ in Ilkeston on Saturday.
Derbyshire Police was called to a property in Hartington Place âto carry out a warrant under Section 135 of the Mental Health Actâ.
Specialist support officers and the National Police Air Service were deployed âdue to the risks posed by the manâ, a force spokesperson said.
No other members of the public were involved.
The police officer has since been discharged from hospital, and officers are remaining at the scene while an investigation takes place.
