Extending the series isn’t in the plans of the New York Knicks as they arrived for Game 6 ready to end it. The team arrived at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena wearing black outfits. Their choice of clothing is a subtle shot at the Indiana Pacers as they look to end the seven-game series to advance to the conference finals.
New York has the advantage over Indiana coming into Game 6 as they have a 3-2 lead. In Game 5, Jalen Brunson put up another impressive outing as he had 44 points to lead the team to a win. He wasn’t by himself as the others poured in decent production.
Josh Hart was phenomenal with 18 points and 11 rebounds, which were a sizeable contribution for a guard like him. Miles McBride also erupted with 17 points as he hit 42.7% of his attempts from beyond the arc. Off the bench, it was Alec Burks who led the second unit with 18 points on 6-11 shooting from the field.

Tonight, they are focused on eliminating the Pacers as they rocked black to the game.
Fans got excited to see the outfits for tonight’s game. Here are some of what the fans had to say.
“They’re attending the funeral of the pacers season,” a fan hinted at a possible elimination for tonight.
“Time to put the nail in the coffin,” one fan said.
“Brunson is dead serious! Let’s Go!” another fan was excited for the team.
But there were a few fans who didn’t like the subtle jab the team did with their outfits.
“This s**t is so corny,” one fan said.
“Last time they dressed all black was game 5 first round against Boston 2013 and lost that game,” one fan had to remind them of the past.
“I hate when they do this,” this fan didn’t hold back.
Many expect the game between the two teams to be intense as they both have different goals to save their seasons.
Brunson appreciates the support from Knicks legends
Throughout the postseason, former Knicks players have shown their support for their former team. Legends like John Starks, Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony and many more have been present at Madison Square Garden to support their team’s playoff run.
The current star of the franchise, Brunson, appreciated the support the team has been getting from past players.
“I just think it’s always important to kind of embrace those who have set a foundation,” Brunson said in a video from SNY. “The things all those players did, regardless of what the outcome was, they were there. For them to come back and do the things they’re doing on the sidelines, being into the game, is awesome. I thank them for that.”
The Knicks will need the legends’ support as they try to end the series tonight and move on to the conference finals.
