WNBA fans shared their reactions on social media as Indiana Fever’s rookie Caitlin Clark received a technical foul against the Seattle Storm on Thursday. In the second matchup of the season between the Fever and the Storm, Clark got heated and talked trash against her opponent. She had to be held back by her teammates to not escalate the situation.
Clark is coming off a huge individual game against the LA Sparks, where she finished with 30 points, five rebounds and six assists. She shot 3-10 from beyond the arc but made it up in the free throw line as she knocked down seven of his 10 shots from the charity stripe.
For tonight’s game, her momentum from the last game has carried off, and she is showing off her intensity on the court. In the first half, Clark seemed to have found her stroke from beyond the arc as she made 2-4 of her three-pointers and had 12 points.
During the second period, the rookie got into it with the Storm’s Victoria Vivians. Clark and Vivians had double technical fouls.

During the second period, Caitlin Clark was getting to her spots as she knocked down her second three-pointer. However, before that, Clark and Victoria Vivians were already talking smack, and the situation escalated after Clark hit her second three.
The Fever rookie immediately went to talk trash to Vivians. Clark’s teammate, Aliyah Boston, had to pull the point guard to separate her from the Storm’s shooting guard.
As a result, the two players each got a technical foul.
