The biggest game of Anthony Edwards’ career arrived on Thursday when the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Dallas Mavericks. After breaking through with their first win in the Western Conference finals in Game 4, the Wolves hoped to live another day with another victory. Minnesota’s supporters turned up in huge numbers, including Edwards’ girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, to support the team.
However, the Timberwolves were blown out on home court by the visiting Mavs, led by the brilliance of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. “Ant-Man” and Karl-Anthony Towns attempted a last-ditch comeback in the fourth quarter but were unsuccessful. Edwards and his teammates were eliminated from the playoffs after their team lost 124-103.
Jeanine Robel might have shaken off the loss better than Anthony Edwards. After the game, she went on Instagram to post this:
•
Besides the mobile phone, the accessory she had was a brown Louis Vuitton bag. Based on the brand’s valuation on their website, it costs a cool $6,750 to get one.
Robel was one of the Timberwolves fans who went to the Target Center in Game 2 of the said series. She had a light brown bag, but instead of an LV, she brought a Gucci. The mother of Edwards’ baby pulled off a simple and casual look while seated at courtside for the said showdown.
Anthony Edwards will have more time to spend with Jeanine Robel and their daughter
Four years after making their relationship public, Anthony Edwards and Jeanine Robel welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Aislynn, in March.
“Ant-Man” missed the Minnesota Timberwolves’ March 1 matchup against the Sacramento Kings for “personal reasons.” Allen Stiles posted on X, formerly Twitter, the reason for the All-Star guard’s absence:
“Anthony Edwards is out with his baby on the way, per the Kings broadcast.”
Edwards battled to get the No. 1 spot in the West. Although the Timberwolves failed, they qualified as the No. 3 team behind the OKC Thunder and the Denver Nuggets for the playoffs.
Start of the playoffs, and he already saw analysts comparing him to the legendary Michael Jordan. He was the main reason the Wolves dethroned Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. Minnesota’s Game 7 win in Denver was easily one of the biggest storylines this NBA season.
The Wolves’ hopes of reaching their first final appearance, however, were dashed by the defense and poised play of the Dallas Mavericks. Now that he is on vacation, he will have more time to spend with Jeanine Robel and their daughter, Aislynn.
