Army chaplain reportedly stabbed at barracks
Police are investigating what they have described as “a very serious incident” at Renmore Barracks in Galway, RTÉ is reporting.
The Irish state broadcaster said an army chaplain was attacked by a teenager carrying a knife at the entrance to the barracks.
The incident reportedly happened on Thursday night.
Renmore Barracks is on the east side of Galway city and is home to an infantry battalion.
