Teenager charged in connection with army chaplain stabbing
A teenage boy has been charged in connection with the stabbing of an Irish army chaplain at Renmore Barracks, County Galway.
He is expected to appear before Galway District Court on Saturday.
The victim, Fr Paul Murphy, who is in his 50s, was taken to University Hospital Galway.
His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Investigations are still ongoing.
