Three people have died following a road traffic collision in north Wales, police have said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon close to Beaumaris Pier on Anglesey.

“We are appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident that hasn’t already spoken to officers, or anybody who might have dashcam footage, to please get in touch,” said Ch Insp Caroline Mullen-Hurst.

Police said they were continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident, and urged people to avoid the area of the High Street, which is expected to be closed for some time.
