Finlay Graham has won Great Britain’s 43rd gold medal of the 2024 Paralympics in Paris in the men’s C1-3 road race.
Graham, 24, beat France’s Thomas Peyroton-Dartet by less than a second, overtaking him on the home straight and improving the silver he won in the event at Tokyo 2020.
It is Graham’s second medal of the Paralympics, having won silver in the men’s C3 3,000m individual pursuit.
Fellow Brits Benjamin Watson and Jaco van Gass finished fifth and sixth respectively.
In the women’s race, Daphne Schrager finished sixth and Fran Brown finished seventh.
