WWE announced an explosive segment to kick off tonight’s edition of RAW. The promotion is currently building toward Crown Jewel 2024 in Saudi Arabia on November 2.
Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship with Dominik Mysterio trapped inside a shark cage earlier this month at Bad Blood. Raquel Rodriguez returned from her hiatus and attacked The Eradicator to end the match via disqualification.
The promotion took to social media to announce that Rhea Ripley would be kicking off tonight’s edition of RAW following her surprise appearance on SmackDown.
“.@RheaRipley_WWE kicks off #WWERaw TONIGHT! 😈”
The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez showed up on SmackDown this past Friday night. Triple H introduced the Crown Jewel Championships earlier this month, and WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will be squaring off for the title at the Premium Live Event next month in Saudi Arabia. Ripley showed up on the blue brand as well and attacked Liv Morgan before she retreated.

Wrestling legend Vince Russo shared his thoughts on Rhea Ripley attacking Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day on SmackDown.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown Live, Russo noted that Rodriguez was supposed to provide backup for the Women’s World Champion but failed to do so this past Friday night. The veteran suggested Morgan fire Rodriguez as her bodyguard after Ripley handled her with ease last week.
“Last Saturday, six days ago we see that Liv Morgan now has muscle. Six days later Rhea Ripley is kicking the muscle’s b*tt.” Russo continued, “Does that make any sense? If I’m Liv Morgan, fire her. She certainly didn’t protect you? Fire her! She hires a bodyguard, not even a week in, Rhea Ripley is knocking the bodyguard around,” said Russo.
Ripley also challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship earlier this year at SummerSlam but came up short after she was betrayed by Dominik Mysterio. Dirty Dom is now in a storyline relationship with Liv Morgan on RAW, and only time will tell how long the 30-year-old will be able to hold onto the Women’s World Championship moving forward.
