A clip claiming Jack Doherty paid Lil Baby $200K to perform at his birthday party has gone viral on social media just days after the content creator shared videos featuring the rapper. The Kick star was recently in the news for crashing his $200K McLaren while broadcasting, an incident even parodied by SNL in their recent episode.
Now, a clip with the caption “Jack Doherty gives Lil Baby $200K to perform for his bday and he treats it like nothing” has begun garnering millions of impressions on social media after being reshared by X users like @FearedBuck. In the video, the streamer can be seen handing the rapper a brown bag.
While it is unclear whether the bag contained money, Twitch streamer DJ Akademiks also claimed that Lil Baby was paid that amount. Akademiks praised the rapper for the gig and compared it with his concert fees.
“Heard he paid $200K for baby to perform 7 songs or so. Good Deal. Baby from what I heard gets like $600k minimum to perform a show. (1 mil or more if rolling loud). So a private small party for 200k 7 songs not bad.” wrote @Akademiks in a post on X.

Jack Doherty has been going viral on social media over the last couple of days following a car accident that garnered significant backlash. After viral footage from the streamer’s broadcast showed him using his phone while driving his McLaren in the rain, many popular content creators called him out for endangering the lives of everyone in the car.
Although Michael, his cameraman in the passenger seat, was hurt in the accident, it seems Doherty has fully recovered, as he shared various clips of himself having fun with Lil Baby on stage at his birthday party.
Soon after, rumors that Jack Doherty paid Lil Baby $200K to sing a few songs at his birthday party started going viral on social media.
After X user @FearedBuck shared a clip of Doherty seemingly handing Lil Baby money, the Kick star reacted by posting a short video of the rapper saying he makes $200K per “occasion”:
“It’s 200 a occasion”
In related news, Jack Doherty has apologized to his cameraman, Michael, for the viral accident. Almost a week after the car crash, the streamer shared a video in which he gifted Michael a jet ski as an apology.
