FRIENDS actor Michael Rapaport recently appeared for an interview on VLAD TV, where he spoke about Diddy and the lawsuit, due to which he is in prison. In the interview posted on YouTube on October 27, 2024, Michael Rapaport was asked if he was surprised that Diddy did not get bail, to which he responded with:
“I am surprised that Diddy didn’t get a bail and I think probably he was surprised that he didn’t get a bail. But, I don’t think right now based on what I know and based on what I see, I don’t think, unless there’s a real twist and turn to the plot, I don’t think he’s coming out of jail again.”
He continued:
“I’m surprised that he didn’t get a bail, but once they kept him in jail, he ain’t getting a bail.”
The host then asked Michael Rapaport about what he thinks about witness tampering, as the interviewer mentioned that a witness who sided with Diddy before his arrest was called by the rapper about 128 times.
To this, Michael Rapaport responded by saying:
“He’s not getting out of jail. When I spoke to my friend who understands these things, he said, he was probably told and his lawyers probably told 50/50. When you’re Puffy, and you come, I got you $50 million bail, and you’re used to things going your way, by hook or crook, you think that atleast they’re going to give me a f*cking bail.”
For the unversed, Michael Rapaport is a popular actor and comedian, who has made appearances in several films and TV shows. Some of his work includes True Romance, Deep Blue Sea, The 6th Day, The Heat, Metro, Boston Public, Prison Break, My Name is Earl and even Justified.
“This is too much, man”: More explored as Michael Rapaport reacts to new lawsuits being filed against Diddy after his arrest
During the Michael Rapaport interview, the host talked about how there would be more lawsuits and witnesses in the Diddy case, as he talked about the recent case where a man alleged that Diddy forced him into oral s*x, with his two bodyguards watching them. To this, Michael Rapaport reacted shockingly and said:
“Damn! I’d be like f*ck this sh*t, It’s got to be another rapper I can work for. I’ll work security at Madison Square Garden, this is too much, man!”
Furthermore, it is also worth noting that after Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, there have been several new lawsuits filed against the rapper, anonymously.
As per Independent UK, at least six lawsuits have been filed in the Manhattan federal court, each of them claiming that they were s*xually and physically abused by Diddy.
Out of the six lawsuits, two women identified as Jane Does, and four men as John Does. Furthermore, one lawsuit is also by a person who claimed that Diddy molested him when he was just 16 years old.
While Diddy and his lawyers have been silent about the new allegations, the music mogul previously denied all allegations, and pleaded not guilty to racketeering and s*x trafficking.
It is also worth noting that Diddy’s lawyers have repeatedly tried for bail, as they even submitted a bail package comprising a $50 million bond, along with his passport. However, the rapper was denied bail repeatedly by the jury, as the prosecutors alleged that he was a “flight risk.”
Since his arrest, he has been held at the federal jail in Brooklyn.
