Baby’s remains found near motorway bridge

The remains of a baby have been found near in land near a motorway.
Police were called to Ashtons Field in Little Hulton, Salford, at about 13:00 GMT after a passer-by reported finding a baby’s remains, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
A cordon has been put up around the area – close to the M61- and there is a large emergency services presence at the scene.
One entrance to the Linnyshaw Loop line and Ashtons Field could be seen to be blocked off by officers.
