Toni Breidinger is set to make her full-time NASCAR Truck Series debut with TRICON Garage in the 2025 season. Breidinger will drive the #5 Toyota Tundra, starting with the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway on February 14. She recently shed light on what she is expecting from her rookie NASCAR Truck season.
Speaking to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Toni Breidinger has reflected her perspective on the challenges and opportunities of advancing to NASCAR’s third-tier series full-time from the ARCA Series. She has made select starts in the Truck Series over the last two seasons. From that experience, the 25-year-old provided her valuable insights and a sense of what she is expecting in her rookie season.
“I mean, obviously trucks is that next step up, so there’s going to be a learning curve to it. But I feel like running Daytona this year in the Truck Series, and the few starts I made last year, I kind of was able to get a feel for what to expect for next season if I were to run it full time,” Breidinger said.
This move can be career-defining for Toni Breidinger, as she has the potential to achieve success in the series.
Breidinger, who is known for her successful background in the ARCA Menards Series, will join Corey Heim and Tanner Gray as teammates next season. She will have an opportunity to learn from some of the series’ best drives.
“Ready to go once we hit for Daytona” – Toni Breidinger
Toni Breidinger is excited as she prepares for the next phase of her racing career with Toyota and TRICON Garage.
In the aforementioned interview, Breidinger appreciated Toyota and TRICON’s support in helping her bridge the learning curve during this offseason, ensuring she is fully prepared and feels confident when the season begins at Daytona.
“Talking to Toyota and Tricon, they really made me feel confident that they could help me prepare and kind of break the gap to that learning curve in the offseason so I can feel super confident and ready to go once we hit for Daytona,” Breidinger added.
“I’m excited. I feel like I learned a lot this past season, and I think this offseason I’m going to be grinding hard to make sure I’m ready to go as soon as the season starts. Definitely a level of competition is steeper,” Breidinger continued.
She is coming from a career-best 11 top-10 finishes in ARCA Series and will look to replicate the same form at truck level in 2025.
