Alex Rodriguez‘s girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, is very active on social media, sharing fitness and health advice through her account. Her latest post addressed a pressing need among females.

Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent types of cancer observed in females. Early detection is one way to defeat it. It occurs when cells in the breast grow uncontrollably, often forming a lump or mass. Risk factors include age, genetics, lifestyle, and hormonal factors, though it can develop in individuals without known risks.

On Wednesday, Cordeiro did her annual breast screening with Cancer Care Ontario in Canada. She posted a selfie just after the screening, advising her female followers to do regular screenings for early detection of the disease.

“Ladies part of self care includes breast screening,” she wrote.

The American Cancer Society recommends that women aged 40 to 44 have the option to begin yearly mammograms, while those aged 45 to 54 should undergo mammograms annually. For women aged 55 and older, mammograms can be done every two years.

“It’s cold out here, and that doesn’t exactly boost motivation for those 5 a.m. starts. But remember your why. Begin your day with gratitude—it’ll give you a little pep in your step, I promise. Always stay connected to your why. Have a great day!” she said in her video.

Jaclyn Cordeiro and Alex Rodriguez have been dating for almost two years, having started their romance in October in California. The following Christmas, A-Rod posted a photo of them alongside her two daughters, Natasha and Ella. Last summer, Cordeiro and her two daughters joined A-Rod’s family on a European vacation.
