Dubai Bling star Ebraheem Al Samadi revealed details about his entry into Netflix’s hit reality show during an exclusive interview with Masala magazine back in late 2022. As per him, when streaming giant Netflix sought personalities for their new Dubai-based reality series, they approached potential cast members with minimal information about the project. His exact words about his casting experience were,
“Crazy enough, none of the cast members knew it was called Dubai Bling or that it would be aired on Netflix! The day I got the call, the only piece of information I had was that the show will be a story about successful businessmen and it’ll be on one of the world’s largest streaming networks. To be very honest, I was thrilled about this as I felt like I finally had the chance to speak about my story and how I grew my business successfully in the region.”
Recently, Al Samadi was featured in Dubai Bling season 3 which premiered on January 8 on Netflix.
Dubai Bling star Ebraheem Al Samadi opened up about the mysterious casting call
The Netflix team approached him with a simple pitch about showcasing successful entrepreneurs in Dubai. During these early conversations, producers highlighted Dubai Bling’s focus on Dubai’s business community. The casting experience proved significant for Al Samadi’s career.

Background
Born in Kuwait in 1988, Al Samadi moved to the United States at age two. Dubai Bling star’s early years involved frequent travel between Kuwait and the US, creating challenges with language and cultural identity. In a podcast with Hikmet Wehbi, he described himself as a “hybrid” due to his Kuwaiti-American background, facing acceptance challenges from both communities.
His shared that his mother played a crucial role in his business development. She encouraged him to sell excess clothes on eBay, inadvertently starting his entrepreneurial journey. This early support system proved vital for his later success in larger business ventures.

This early experience shaped his business approach, leading to bigger projects like Forever Rose in London. His decision to move the business to Dubai proved successful, especially with royal clientele supporting the brand.
In the same Masala Magazine interview, when asked about how if he misses his old lifestyle or not, he shared:
“I proudly made my first million dollars at the age of 18 so we’re speaking about my teenage years, and who wouldn’t miss that? As much as I love my life right now with the chaos, varied responsibilities, exciting plans, and much more — I miss the calmness I was in before the storm!”
When asked about the difference between a millionaire and a non-millionaire Ebraheem, Ebraheem replied,
“Kind, humble, and generous — these 3 words describe both the non-millionaire Ebraheem and the millionaire Ebraheem. I strive to work hard and succeed; money was never my priority and I’m glad the people close to me know this so well.”
