Tom Brady’s Hall of Fame ceremony for the Patriots was a throwback to some good times, and Jay-Z’s surprise appearance made it even more so. For many years, New England faithful had seen the quarterback lead the team out to the song “Public Service Announcement” with its ubiquitous line, “… allow me to reintroduce myself.”
Tom Brady would come out of the tunnel pumped and then go to the opposing end zone and shout his signature “Let’s go” before getting to his work on the field. Having chosen the song and made it his own, Patriots fans know what to expect when they hear it. But scarcely would they have believed that Jay-Z, the man himself, would come out to the ceremony to honor the quarterback.
Here’s a look as Jay-Z performs the signature beat, which became synonymous with Tom Brady for Patriots fans. On a day filled with nostalgia, this was another addition to the throwback catalog.

Jay-Z not the only famous entertainer there to hype Tom Brady at his Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony
If there is one person who can claim to have transcended the sport of football, it is Tom Brady. That is no hyperbole as objectively he has more Super Bowl rings than all 32 NFL franchises individually possess. So seeing superstars outside the football world come and stump for the quarterback was not a surprise.
Jon Bon Jovi, another legendary entertainer and a dedicated Patriots fan, was in attendance for Tom Brady’s induction into the Hall of Fame. The famous singer, who also has a close relationship with former coach Bill Belichick, was seen seated with owner Robert Kraft and incumbent coach Jerod Mayo.
It wasn’t just famous singers coming to the quarterback’s party. John Cena, a WWE legend and superstar in his own right, narrated the video of Brady’s journey with the Patriots and got the ceremony started. It started right from the beginning, when he was drafted, to all the success he achieved with the franchise.
From Jay-Z to Jon Bon Jovi to John Cena, superstars across domains were there to pay their respects to the GOAT. Tey mingled with myriad football superstars, who are of course expected to be present at such an occasion.
The Patriots were indeed fortunate to have a player of his caliber represent them for two decades. And now, they have enlisted some of the biggest names as they seek to pay him their respects for all that he did for them.
