Jrue Holiday and Xavier Tillman celebrated winning the NBA championship with their families on the beach. Tillman’s wife recently shared a video of their kids playing with Holiday’s children less than 24 hours after beating the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
On her official Instagram account, Tamia Tillman posted a short video of her two children with Holiday’s two kids at a beach, probably somewhere in New England. The teammates can’t take an official vacation before the Boston Celtics’ official championship parade on Friday.
“Just living the best life w/ their best friends,” Tamia wrote.

Jrue Holiday and his wife Lauren have two children together – daughter Jrue Tyler and son Hendrix. J.T. was born in 2016 just weeks after her mother underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. Hendrix came to the world last 2020 when Holiday was still with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Meanwhile, Xavier Tillman and his wife Tamia have three kids together – daughters Ayanna and Leilani, and a son named Xavier Jr. Ayanna was born in 2016 and Leilani was born two years ago. Tamia gave birth to Xavier Jr. in 2020.
Based on the video above, it seems like the kids there are J.T. and Hendrix Holiday, and Ayanna and Xavier Jr. Baby Leilani is just two years old and likely won’t be allowed to the sea unless supervised by an adult.
Jrue Holiday and Xavier Tillman arrived in Boston last season
The Boston Celtics made a lot of moves in the offseason by trading away Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III. The Celtics acquired Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, who both were instrumental in having the best record in the NBA and winning their 18th banner.
Holiday was not a huge part of the offense in the regular season, but his defense remained top-notch. He took it to another level in the NBA Finals, and he now has his second ring in four seasons.
On the other hand, Tillman was acquired at the trade deadline to serve as a backup center. Porzingis has some injury history, and Al Horford was 37 years old already. He did not play a lot of minutes in the playoffs, but stepped up when given the chance.
How did the Celtics acquire Jrue Holiday?
The Boston Celtics were looking to replace Marcus Smart on their lineup after they traded him as part of the Kristaps Porzingis deal. They were out of options close to the start of training camp when Jrue Holiday became available via the Portland Trail Blazers.
But why did Holiday become gettable for the Celtics? Well, the Milwaukee Bucks traded him to Portland as part of the blockbuster deal involving Damian Lillard. The Blazers had no use for a veteran like him, so Boston general manager Brad Stevens swooped in to get him in exchange for Robert Williams III, Malcolm Brogdon, and two first-round draft picks.
