Oasis to kick off reunion tour with Cardiff gigs
Oasis will kick off their long-awaited reunion tour in Cardiff next year.
The band will perform on the 4 and 5 July at the city’s Principality Stadium.
It will mark the first time that the band’s brothers – Noel and Liam Gallagher – will have played together since 2009.
The last time Oasis played in Cardiff was 2008, months before Noel quit the Manchester rock group, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.
Reunion rumours had recently intensified amid reports that the feuding brothers were ending their disagreement.
Confirming the Oasis Live 25 tour, they said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Tickets are expected to go on sale on 31 August at 09:00 BST.
“Oasis are back! and it kicks off here! See you in July,” the Principality Stadium said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The band will go on to play shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, with further shows outside Europe expected to be announced later in the year.
