Indian ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was at his relentless best on the morning of Day 5 of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. With time being the biggest hurdle between India and victory in a rain-marred Test, Jadeja flipped the game on its head with a brilliant spell of 3/3 in three overs.
Bangladesh were coasting at 90/3 in 27 overs with a lead of 38 when the champion left-arm spinner began weaving his magic. Jadeja cleaned up Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto off the second delivery of his spell to begin his demolition of the visitors.
The 35-year-old followed that with another massive scalp, removing Litton Das in the last ball of his second over. Jadeja then picked up his third in the space of 12 balls when he removed Bangladesh’s talisman Shakib Al Hasan for a duck.
Bangladesh slipped from 91/3 to 94/7 in a matter of minutes, with Jadeja finishing his third over with figures of 3/3.
With the lead at only 42, Jadeja had turned another home Test on its head, leaving fans on X in awe of the all-rounder’s match-winning abilities.

Ravindra Jadeja’s sensational three-over burst has India on the verge of a famous win in the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur.
With the game heading towards a dull draw after only 35 overs were bowled on the first day, India injected life into the contest on Day 4. After bundling the visitors out for 233 in the post-lunch session, India scored at a record pace to finish 285/9 in under 35 overs in their first innings.
They removed two Bangladesh wickets late last evening before continuing their surge on Day 5.
Jadea picked up the lone wicket in the first innings to complete the 300-wicket mark in Tests and added another three in the second innings.
As things stand, Bangladesh are reeling at a dismal 132/9 with a lead of only 80 runs in their second innings.
