WWE Superstar Jey Uso recently ended his feud with Bron Breakker by dethroning him as the Intercontinental Champion on an episode of Monday Night RAW. Just a week after the title change, The Dog personally came to congratulate Jey and walked away without trying to throw hands. While the WWE Universe saw this as a face turn, Breakker shocked everyone by ambushing the Yeet Master this week.
Bron Breakker had previously gloated about the fact that nobody from Jey Uso’s bloodline of Samoan wrestlers had ever defeated anybody from his Steiner pro wrestling family. Now, it seems that the former NXT Champion is carrying a grudge for being the first Steiner to lose to a Samoan. Speaking to RAW Talk’s Jackie Redmond, Uso reacted to Breakker’s sudden ambush.
“I really thought he was showing respect. I really thought he was giving me my props. I really thought he thought I was a better man that night. I would have respected him for sure right back and gave him another rematch, but you know he’s showing his true colors, you know he popped off on me at the end of the match. You know I didn’t see it coming late in the year my homies all the way out, but it’s all good we’re gonna run it back.” [1:15 – 1:35]

Jey Uso compares Bron Breakker’s spear with Roman Reigns; calls it a disrespect
Following her question about Bron Breakker’s ambush, Jackie Redmond also asked Jey Uso about his thoughts on getting speared by him. Notably, the Spear is a highly powerful and popular move used by both Jey and his cousin Roman Reigns.
Answering the question, Mr. Yeet said that he could eat a spear and has done so in the past at the hands of the OTC. However, he said that Breakker spearing him felt very disrespectful.
“Yeah, man. It’s crazy ’cause I can take a Spear. I took it from my cousin Roman Reigns, but to happen to another homie like Bron Breakker hitting it on me, man, it’s disrespectful to me in a way. But we’re gonna run that back though Jackie for sure,” said Jey. [1:48 – 2:03]
With the fierce rivalry between the two superstars, it will be interesting if and when Bron Breakker gets a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.
