A 25-year-old WWE star is set to make his on-screen return for a second match in over nine months on the NXT Level Up tonight.
On July 11, 2023, NXT star Kale Dixon teamed up with Luca Crusifino to face the team of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen in a losing effort. Since then the star has been away from in-ring action.
In 2024, Dixon worked over three matches in February and March, which were not televised. Making his on-screen comeback, the 25-year-old star suffered a defeat at the hands of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the February 27 episode of NXT Level Up.
Before this week’s WWE NXT kicked off, Kale Dixon faced off against Riley Osborne in his only second on-screen match in nine months on April 16. However, the NXT Level Up taped on Tuesday will air tonight.
NXT’s Mr. Stone once compared Kale Dixon with WWE legend
In an interview, the current manager of Von Wagner, Mr. Stone (Robert Stone) revealed that he would like to manage the 25-year-old star and compared him with the 14-time World Champion, Randy Orton.
Speaking to PWInsider, Robert Stone mentioned that Kale Dixon has a lot of potential and it reminded him of Randy Orton in his young age. He said:
“I think he has so much potential. He reminds me, the way he moves and talks and his swag, he reminds me of like a young, I don’t want…big, big comparison here, but almost like a young Randy Orton and I just think he has so much to him. He has such a bright future ahead of him. I think me and him would click really well. I think he’s the man, I’ve told him this and I think yeah, down the line, I’d love to work with him.” (H/T: WrestleZone)
Dixon’s win/loss record shouldn’t be a concern because he has had only twenty-eight matches till now televised and non-televised. WWE fans have to wait and see if the company uses the up-and-coming talent to its full potential.
