Love is Blind: Argentina aired episodes 1 to 4 this week on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The first four episodes saw the new singles form connections and before deciding who they wanted to get engaged to. While some people found themselves attracted to just one person, there were others who were interested in more than one individual, such as Roberto.
Roberto found himself attracted to two women, Agustina and Evangelina, and made a decision in episode 3. Before he proposed to Evangelina, he spoke to Agustina and told her that while he was not ready to commit to her, he wanted to get to know her on the outside. The female cast member told him that if he didn’t continue the social experiment with her, they would not be in touch.
“In all honesty, I think this is pretty cowardly,” Agustina said before she walked away.
Roberto then proposed to his other connection and she said yes.
Roberto breaks up with Agustina in Love is Blind: Argentina episode 3
In Love is Blind: Argentina season 1 episode 3, titled, The Face Behind the Voice, both Agustina and Evangelina showed vulnerability and opened up about their parents to Roberto. While Agustina told him about her non-existent relationship with her mother, the latter opened up about her parents’ turbulent relationship.
The male cast member knew he had a choice to make, and told the cameras ahead of his dates that he woke up “very anxious and nervous.” He said he had three options.
“Option one, continue things with Agustina. Option two, continue the experiment with Eva. Or option three, which is to drop out of the experiment,” he said.
Agustina commented on her connection with Roberto in a confessional and said she could see a “lifetime” with the Love is Blind: Argentina cast member. She said she knew it was crazy but it was “true.” Meanwhile, Evangelina also told the cameras about her and Roberto’s connection and said she “completely opened up” her heart to him the previous day.
She added that she shared everything she felt about him. She said “the ball” was in Roberto’s court about who he wanted to pick. The male Love is Blind: Argentina participant told the cameras that it was a “very difficult” decision.
Although viewers didn’t know who he was speaking to during the first date, he told the participant that he had been thinking about “this” since their previous date. He told the cast member that he was unable to sleep at night and had been “thinking hard” about his decision.
“All of this went so fast and well, I think that, I’m not ready to fully commit myself to you or move forward with you but also, you’re very interesting as a person, and I would love the chance to meet you,” Roberto said.
The camera panned to Agustina who was on the other side of the wall. She told the Love is Blind: Argentina star that if they didn’t continue the social experiment together, they would not be keeping in touch on the outside.
Roberto told her he understood her point and stated that his “position” was that he was not there yet. She said it was “sh*tty” and it could have been nice. She added that she wasn’t on the reality show to convince or force him. She stated she wasn’t crying over it either.
The Love is Blind: Argentina cast member expressed her anger towards Roberto while in a confessional. She said she was “angry” and realized he might not be “very intelligent.” She was blindsided by Roberto’s decision but was grateful because she didn’t want a “coward” as her partner.
