The highly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released in a few days. The game has managed to create a lot of hype, and fans of the franchise are eager to get their hands on the game. But what if you are a newcomer to the Indiana Jones universe and have never watched any movie or played any game of this series? Can you still play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?

Even though there has been no official word from the developers and publishers of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, we believe that the game might not make much sense to those who are not already aware of the plot of the series. The reason behind this is simple — the events of this game take place between two already-released Indiana Jones movies.

‘Indy’ was first presented in front of the world in 1981 in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark. Since then, there have been numerous films, video games, and books released involving Indiana Jones as the protagonist — an archaeologist going on crazy adventures around the globe.

The events of this upcoming game take place in 1937, according to the developers. However, since The Lost Ark and The Last Crusade take place in 1936 and 1938, respectively, your best bet might be to watch both these films before starting the game.

While there is no official confirmation if the story of the game is interlinked with these two movies in any way, watching these films before starting the game might provide better immersion and enjoyment.
