Two men charged in Channel deaths investigation

Two men have been charged with immigration offences in connection with the deaths of five migrants, including a child, who died attempting to the cross the English Channel.
Five people, including a seven-year-old girl, were killed in a crush on board a boat crossing the Channel on Tuesday.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are expected to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court later.
A third man, 18, from Sudan, has been bailed pending further inquiries.
The boat was carrying 112 people at the time of the tragedy.
