In pictures: UK stargazers wake up to lunar eclipse

Early-rising stargazers in the UK woke up to a lunar eclipse just before dawn on Friday.
The eclipse was expected to be partial for most of the UK, with the Earthâs shadow only covering part of the Moon.
In some very western areas, and across the Americas, a total eclipse may have been visible â weather permitting.
A stunning âblood moonâ was created as the Moon moved into Earthâs shadow, gradually darkening before turning a dusky red.
After the partial eclipse began at 05:09 GMT.
