A six-year-old boy has died after falling from a building in east London.
Emergency services were called at 06:00 BST to New City Road in Plaistow to reports someone had âfallen from heightâ. A child died at the scene.
The boyâs family has been told and is being supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police says. The death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation is under way.
The Met said it was working to âestablish the full circumstancesâ.
No arrests have been made.
âOur thoughts are with the childâs family at this time,â a spokesperson added.
