WWE Superstar Zelina Vega delivered a heartfelt message to her AEW star husband today on social media. Vega was supposed to compete in the Queen of the Ring tournament but was pulled due to injury.
Zelina Vega won the inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament in 2021 but was unable to defend her crown this year. She was replaced in the tournament by Alpha Academy’s Maxxine Dupri, and the 27-year-old was defeated by Shayna Baszler in the first round.
Vega took to social media today to send a birthday message to her husband, AEW star Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE. She wished him a happy 39th birthday and added that she loves him, as seen in her post below.
“Happy birthday husband. I love life with you every single day. @malakaiblxck,” wrote Zelina Vega.
Adam Copeland (formerly known as Edge) will be defending his TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at Double or Nothing 2024 this Sunday night.
Zelina Vega shares her goals in WWE
Latino World Order’s Zelina Vega has disclosed what she wants to accomplish moving forward in her career.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion shared that she wanted to capture a major singles title in the company. Vega has never held a singles championship during her time in the company.
“I feel like I’ve gotten the chance to do some amazing things, work with some amazing people. Andrade, and obviously I got to work very closely with Rey. I got to be the first ever Queen of the Ring, and tag champion, but I’ve never actually gotten to be WWE Women’s Champion. So that’s my goal. It’s something that I really wanted to do and prove that I can do. There’s been so many doubters and people who thought I couldn’t do any of what I’ve accomplished.” [From 0:38 onwards]

Vega has made it known that she is okay with being the only female WWE star in Latino World Order. Only time will tell when the 33-year-old will be able to return to action.
